Utilize The Access You Have Been Offered

As my family was at the gym recently, I really took a good look at the facility and I thought to myself, with our gym membership I have access to ALL the equipment it holds, along with the expertise of the instructors and experienced health enthusiasts on-site ready to share their knowledge. I had to acknowledge with this access there is no limit to my ability to improve my health, I just have-to LOCK IN and do it, this is a phrase my daughter often uses and I have adopted it. I had to own that if I use the tools at my disposal I can be as strong as I want, no excuse, I can ready myself to meet the challenges that will no doubt come my way as I forge on through this life and the tools are right in the building waiting for me to use and I have 100% access to them. Over the years, I have owned gym memberships and simply did not go or when I did, I was not fully present and only put forth a half-hearted effort because it made me feel better to say, "I showed up.”  

Now, stop and apply this view to the church, we have the saving knowledge that God has come to us in the flesh and in the  volume of book (1 Timothy 3:16; Hebrews 10:7, John 1:14) and with that knowledge we have at our disposal as much of a walk with God as we want (James 4:8), there is no limit to the relationship we can cultivate with God and the knowledge of His Word. We only need to SHOW UP and BE ALL IN. He paid the price for our access, and He is ready to teach us and guide us. All we need to do is lean into His Word, seek His face, listen to His voice, learn his word, and do what He says (John 14:15). He will strengthen us, God established the Church that we have free access to, and He paid the price for our access, we have unlimited access to what we need to learn, share, and grow. There are no limits; it is right in front of us. He has removed the partition, granting us free access (Ephesian 3:12).

Church, we need to SHOW UP, we need to BE ENGAGED, let us be strong in the faith so that we can share the truth of God’s love with those who do not know this great amazing strength that is at our ready, we only have to utilize the access we have been offered, Jesus paid the price for it!
