OUR MISSION
Our mission is to be a praying, Bible‑teaching church where people are saved, discipled, and sent out to share the hope of Jesus Christ in Evansville and beyond.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” — John 3:16
The Bible is the completely trustworthy and infallible Word of God. Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, just as He declares in John 14:6. Jesus — the man who walked among us — is God manifested in the flesh (1 Timothy 3:16). There is only one Lord, one faith, and one baptism, as taught in Ephesians 4:5. No one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born again of water and Spirit, according to John 3:3–5. This new birth takes place when a person turns away from sin, is baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins and receives the gift of the Holy Ghost. Acts 2:38. Following Jesus means living a holy, transformed life that is distinctly different from the life we left behind (2 Corinthians 6:17). And Scripture makes it clear that every one of us has sinned and is in need of a Savior (Romans 3:23).
We are intentionally moving away from livestream‑based worship and encouraging one another to unplug and be fully present in the house of God. Hebrews 10:25 instructs us to not forsake assembling ourselves together. We do recognize that some members are truly shut, limited mobility, or other unavoidable circumstances. For them, we provide a closed, members‑only stream so they can stay connected, participate in worship, and remain part of the life of the church.
